Overview

Moving from your premedical experience to becoming a medical student is the first big step in your medical career path. With insights from women who are now in medical school,  residency, and practice, the American Medical Women’s Association (AMWA) has curated a series of training sessions that cover hot button topics relevant to today’s medical students.

This PreMed to Med Transitions Program aims to prepare rising M1s to gain insights, new perspectives, and valuable strategies as they move into the world of medicine. This one-month self-paced  program can be completed at any time and is free for all premed members that transition to medical student membership. We hope that this transition will be the first of many to come and that your journey with AMWA will be a lifelong one.
